General Motors Complaint - I Can't Believe I Bought Another Chevrolet
BESSEMER, ALABAMA -- In the 1970s I bought a lemon when I bought a Caprice. It took me 35 years to risk buying another Chevrolet. Guess what? We have been paying 2 years on this car and have already had power window and power lock problems. Now it seems that I have 2 separate unrelated leaks flooding the front and the back of my car. They are offering to do the repairs for the budget price of $1,000.00. This includes removing the carpet as well as the lining in the top of the car and removing the seats. I am glad to know that my tax dollars are going to keep this company afloat so that they can turn out these remarkable machines. I can promise them that not only will I never buy another Chevrolet, I will share my good fortune with all of the people who asked me how I liked my car. I have a Nissan Quest sitting in the driveway with close to 200,000 miles and have never had problems with the sunroof leaking or the luggage rack leaking. See, it can be done. We have owned 11 new vehicles in the time that we have been married.
We have had 3 Fords, 2 lemons from Chevrolet, 1 lemon from Buick and 5 Nissans that all got between 180,000 and 240,000 miles with very little problems. I should have taken my chances and driven the Quest with all of those miles on it and saved myself these headaches.
