Travelocity Complaint - False Advertising
I wish so bad I would have known to read this sight BEFORE booking a package on Travelocity. Back in November I had booked a package that advertised all included( flight, hotel AND taxes) for 539/person. I hurried and booked this flight has it was a surprise for my wife and charged it to my friends credit card. She walked into my room as I was booking it so I confirmed it before checking the total. Stupid I know but I new that 539 x 2 is 1078 so I figured no problems. Well, first they ADDED $165 tax and fee charge for a total of 1244! Calling their consumer relation dept is a joke. No one can speak good English and trying to get them to understand anything was impossible. When I tried to explain the false advertising and wanted the fee credited, he claimed the total was right their on the bottom and it was my responsibility to review it before submitting....DUH! I realize that but it doesn't change the fact that false advertising is still wrong regardless if I caught it then or now. The person I dealt with gave me a email and fax number to send a complaint but surprisingly no one has gotten back to me. All along they keep sending me emails for GREAT "DEALS" to Vegas which are now hundreds of dollars less for better flights than I paid.
On top of all this they have changed my flight to more inconvenient times but still have yet to change it to my account nor can I cancel without major fees. I will take legal action if this is not refunded.
