JP Morgan Chase Credit Card Complaint - Rip Off
33444, FLORIDA -- I went to pay my bill online (two calendar days before payment is due). I have been doing all my bill paying online for about 3 years now with no problems from any company...till tonight. I was not able to log in. I had to call the 800 number. The customer service representative I spoke to informed me that since the takeover of WAMU from JPMORGAN CHASE in order to make a payment "so close" to the due date I would have to do it by phone. I could not pay online. OK. Fine. Then I am informed that to make my payment two days early, over the phone, it is a $14.95 charge!!!! WHAT??? I have to pay you people to pay my bill? Early????? Have they lost there minds? I'm disgusted that working two jobs, and making big sacrifices to pay my bills on time gets me nothing from this company. I would love to take further action - that should not be legal.
How can they justify taking $14.95 from me to pay a bill two days early? I must be illegal. I am going to talk to an attorney friend... I'm in shock.
