Priceline.com Complaint - No Fee?
GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN -- PriceLine.com advertises "No Fees", but beware, this simply is not the case. I recently had to change a reservation (regular booking - not a bid) and found that in addition to the airline change fee (another discussion in and of itself) that PriceLine tacks another $30 per ticket. net impact - being that I was able to roll ~$20 of the original ticket price into a new ticket. Asked them to keep the $20 - not worth the indigestion dealing with them brought on.
On the plus side - conversation was cordial (albeit scripted), that in and of itself is not worth the hassle of doing business here again. In addition to the substandard resolution - the fact that I had to make a request in writing to speak to their customer service department alone puts me solidly into the lap of other on-line travel services.
"Nofee" would be very unhappy.
