Acura Complaint - Do Not Buy Acura - 2001 Acura
2001 Acura - Complaint
I have a 2001 Acura which had the transmission fail for a 2nd time. It is now just out of warranty and they now refuse to stand behind their vehicle. Just type Acura transmission into Google and see all the issues with this car. If a manufacturer knows they have a bad product they should do everything they can to fix the problem or lose business.
Acura has not done this so I will NEVER buy one again. I would not recommend them to ANYONE. Not even a democrat.

agreed any company that won't replace your transmission on an 8 yr old car is just wrong. I'd buy GM next time.

Is there some kind of lifetime warranty now on vehicles that I missed the memo on? It just seems like no one wants to pay for anything anymore...This is an 8 year old car...We've had so many similiar cases at the dealership lately...from "why my 5 year old battery should be replaced for free" to situations like this--Hey I understand money might be tight, but that doesn't mean you are not responsible for anything! Did I mention this is an 8 year old car?
