McKinney Dodge Complaint - Poor Finance Service

Review by Texrands on 2009-04-07
MCKINNEY, TEXAS -- Just passing on information regarding the inept finance department at McKinney Dodge. I financed a vehicle through them and then found a lower interest rate through my credit union. I was told to contact the dealership to request a refund for the GAP insurance. When I contacted them I was told I had to drive back to McKinney to sign a piece of paper to get my refund, I did, and then was told it would take 2-3 weeks to receive my refund. It has been 3 months and when I called to check the status I was told nothing had been submitted for the refund.

Did the same thing at Bankston Dodge, was handled over the phone and took 2-3 weeks.

Apparently service after the sale is not important to Dodge City.

If the amount of the refund is large enough (large enough to justify the time involved), file a small claims action against the dealership.
