Across Country Relocation Company Complaint - poor customer service/unreliable
FLORIDA -- This company is very unprofessional. I did a listing at movedirect.com which gets you quotes from several different movers. I got a quote from this company and didnt respond to it because it was more then I wished to spend to simply move a kitchen table and 4 chairs from Fl to NH. They called to see if I got the quote. I said yes and that I wasnt interested. Bob asked why and I explained that it more then I cared to spend. Bob asked what price range I was looking at asked me to hold and came back with a number only $20.00 more then I was looking to spend.... so I jumped right on it filled out the contract, had aprox. pick up and delivery dates.....called to confirm the pick up date and they guy on the phone said ohh Bobs on the other line can I have him call you back. Said sure....3hours later no call so I called back....Bob wasnt in, which had me nervous since the pic up dates were between 2 days from this day to 5 days. Well called the next day Bob wasnt in ohhhh but I had an e-mail from dear sweet Bob......
I was able to pull up the file, when I tried to register the shipment, the response came back (unable to provide service due to the
size and price) there is a company that does these small shipments, you can
contact xxx-xxx-xxxx, I'm very sorry we won't be able to process this
orderfor you, please contact xxx Deliveries and see if they can
accommodate you...Thanks again....Bob"
This would be after signing contract,I had turned down all other mover and all other quotes were no longer valid. With work ethics like that makes me glad I didnt end up trusting them with my items
