Orbitz Complaint - Will I Ever See My Money
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- I made a reservation for a flight to Deli online, at orbitz.com on 01/18/2008 the flight was on 2/18/09. The total for the flight reservation was $854.40 But I had to cancel the reservation so I called to cancel the reservation on 1/24/09 I was told there would be a $200 cancellation fee I was not happy with this and argued with the representative. A few days later 1/27/09 I called again and while talking on the phone I cancelled the reservation. I was told it would be one to two billing cycles before I got my money back.
I called orbitz.com on 4/18/09 to ask what the situation was with my money they confirmed the cancellation but stated that the refund would be processed and that would take one to two billing cycles before I got my money back! I said this is what I was told two months ago. After a discussion with the representative I spoke with [snip] an orbitz.com supervisor she said on line cancellations do not get refunded unless you call! I was on the phone when I cancelled!
I am not sure what they will say in a couple of months? Will I ever see my money?
