Stamps.com Complaint - Who Are Stamps.com And Better Yet How Did They Get My Credit Card Info? - It Says On Here "Print Postage From Your PC"

It Says On Here "Print Postage From Your PC" - Complaint
Review by SuzRmoore on 2009-04-09
First let me tell you I only use stamps for Birthday cards I am mailing and Christmas Card. A book of stamps I buy at the Post office last me all year. So when I say I have no need to order 60 a month stamps I can print on line I mean it. Until I started getting charges for stamps.com on my bank statement I had never heard of this company. I cancelled my card thinking someone had used my number for their account, yesterday I opened a PAST DUE notice in the mail.

Who are these people and how did they get my credit card number and how do I get rid of this problem.

Again, I have no need for stamps online (def. not $60 a month worth), I have never heard of this company and DID NOT order their service. This is a total scam!!

Anyone know how to get this cleared up?

There should be a phone number listed next to the entry on the statement. Call them. You should have called them when you first saw the entry on your statement instead of closing your account.
Their web: http://www.stamps.com/contact-us/

I had once made a purchase on Amazon and in the checkout process I had somehow managed to sign up for a trial subscription to AOL. I didn't realize my error until the first monthly charge showed up on my CC statement. A simple call cancelled the AOL account.
