Star Pontiac GMC Complaint - Scammed - Car Purchase

Review by tinasott on 2009-04-09
EASTON, PENNSYLVANIA -- We recently bought a car and a truck at star Pontiac in Easton, a both were "GMC" certified. On the way home the Pontiac G6 started making a noise and vibrating. I called as soon as we got home and told the salesman not only was there a problem with the car but it apparently lacked several things we were told it had. Unfortunately, because the car had just been brought in it had no sticker or owners manual to verify anything by. I was told to bring it in and it would be a "top" priority. Several days later the salesman called to tell me they replaced the intermediate drive shaft. Looking at others with the same issue it seems that this is a reoccurring problem. I told him we were misled about what was in the car and now it has a problem before we even get it home. I told him I wanted to return it. I was then told we could only exchange it. I spoke to the sales manager and GM and it was he said she said and they did NOTHING except tell me if I didn't pick it up they would charge me storage fees. Great customer service huh? Apparently us buying a truck wasn't enough;they needed to stick us with what I believe to be a lemon.

I asked for their insurance information to file a claim against their personal liability insurance, and of course since they had nothing to hide they flat out refused. Please don't make the same mistake we did. If you shop a Star Pontiac it truly is buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!!
