AT&T Long Distance USA Complaint - long distance service charges
ALTOONA, PENNSYLVANIA -- I am highly upset with AT&T's new monthly/quarterly billing. I spent well over an hour on the phone with them and have not been able to resolve my billing problem. I made 1 (one) long distance call between dec 17 and mar 17 and have been charged almost $27 in service charges! AT & T refuses to credit these charges unless I sign up for a calling play for $.25/min. I told the customer rep and his supervisor I had no problem paying for the call I made ($14.52) but was not paying the additional $27 in their new service charges. I have switched my long distance service to Verizon and filed a complaint with the FCC against AT & T. I hope others file a complaint also. I have a cell phone with free long distance, I do not need to pay a long distance company almost $42 for making one phone call in 3 months!
