Sears Complaint - Don't Back The Products
LAWTON, OKLAHOMA -- My son-in-law bought me a chain saw for Christmas and now that the weather is warm got it out to start cutting down trees. Cut only 3 trees down and my chain saw stopped running - looked through the manual and pulled the cover and the filter was in side ways and when upon more looking there is metal shavings all over. Took it back to Sears and they won't honor there product. Say its passed 90 days and sent me to service center upon getting there they say not covered over 90 days old. Asked about the tool lifetime cover and they say chainsaw is not a tool. I beg to differ its a tool to landscapers and wood cutters just like a wrench is to a mechanic. On top of that the service man say metal shavings in motor isn't cover anyway WHAT!!! I don't understand this at all its there product and my son in law is out this money.
I will NEVER EVER BUY A THING A SEARS EVER AGAIN NOR WILL ANY OF MY FAMILY. They claim to stand behind there stuff - YEA RIGHT......
