A&E Service Complaint - A&E Is The Worst!
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- When our 4.5 year old expensive Maytag stopped cooling Maytag assigned us A&E to repair it. Our experience is too long to write about, but I'll provide a brief summary. A&E will not give a time period during which a technician will come. Their standard line is "8 to 5", no matter what. They also tell you that on the morning of the technician's assigned visit they can give you a more precise time, but that's the first lie. After waiting an entire day NO ONE ever showed up and no one from A&E bothered to call to inform us. When I called at 5:15 to inquire, I was told more lies and was told someone would come between 1 and 5 the following day. In brief, I took off 1 1/2 days from work, was constantly lied to and finally had the refrigerator fixed at 5pm of the second day. I also found out that A&E does not have an inventory of parts, which means the technician has to order the parts, which may take a few more days.
Fortunately in our case he did have a spare. Don't go with A&E. They provide the WORST service (or lack of service) we have ever had and they do not communicate with you.
