LG Complaint - LG 42LB1DR... POS!
72022 -- As probably many of you have experienced, my 2 year old LG TV decided to just go black and stop working. LG won't fix it because of the warranty only being 1 year. Other people want $600+ dollars to fix it. I'm soooo ticked off right now. I wrote this letter in an e-mail to LG headquarters, and I wish you all would do the same, here is the website, and e-mail me if you know how to fix my TV, or ANYTHING email@example.com
Please do a recall on your LG TV 42LB1DR. This TV has a major power supply flaw that causes it to go black after about 1.5 to 2 years. Unless you purposely design your TV's to do this so the consumer either has to have it fixed or buy a new one. There are hundreds of people whom I've been speaking with on the internet who are having this same problem. All I want is my TV fixed, but LG says they only warrant for 1 year. I REALLY want to get all these people together and file a class action lawsuit against LG for selling a product designed to fail after warranty expires. And I also really don't appreciate the way the LG helpdesk people treat us like crap, like our TV breaking is our fault. So, can anything be done about my new TV? I don't want to go on a worldwide rampage doing my best to create website and file lawsuits to try to destroy whatever good name LG has/had. ALL I WANT IS MY TV TO BE FIXED. I would appreciate any kind of answer you can give me.
