Nissan of Mckinney Complaint - Worst Car Shopping Experience Ever

Review by jbb77 on 2009-04-14
MCKINNEY, TEXAS -- This was the worst experience I have ever had. I found a pre-owned VW beetle for sale online at Nissan of McKinney. I then called and spoke to Daniel their internet salesman. He verified the car was in stock and still for sale. The price listed was $13982.00. I drove almost 4 hours that morning from Austin to purchase this car for my wife. When I got there they added $2200 to the price bringing the total to $16182. It must have said idiot on the back of my shirt or something. They stated that the additional costs were incurred during their routine service on all pre-owned cars. After negotiating for 30-45 minutes I offered them the list price they had put on Autotrader and they refused. This was the biggest waist of time and truly a dishonest way of doing business.

The good news is I purchased a nicer car for less money from Bankston Ford in Arlington. I didn't even have to haggle on the price.
