MCI/Worldcom Complaint - mci service
SEYMOUR, INDIANA -- In january of 2004 I was presuaded into cancelling my service with verizon in which I had for long time because i didnt have any compliants with this company. MCI said i could get a bussiness service for a cheaper with all the extra we have with running a business like voicemail and a fax machine, all could be swicthed over very easily, because i said i couldnt do it if it would bother the business.
They insured me it wouldnt be do promblem to do all the swicthing.
It took them two weeks to switch us over and when they did they couldnt hook up voicemail for a month and we work out of the office all day so now we are missing alot of calls. Every time we called about this matter they couldnt help us.
When that finally got taken care of, they didnt have a fax machine hooked up so we called and they said it wasnt on the order we put in. I know it was on the order in the begining. So we called them back again and they said we couldnt keep the fax number we are using they will have to issue us a new number. That wont work because our nuber is in our phone book on flyers all around our town and we just had business cards printed with this number. We wanted them to pay for new business card, and to have the change done in the phone book. They said they couldnt do that. When we wanted them to send us a complaint form out so we could fill it they said they couldnt do that also. We got an address to the home office so we are now going there. At the begining they said it would be 59.99 for the business packet, but now it is 7.25 for voicemail, and 5.25 the fax machine in addiction to the 59.99 so in the long run it will cost me the same as if i would of stayed with verizon. I wish i did stay and saved me all this hassel!!!!!!
