Netspend Complaint - Netspend Is Full Of Surprises!
P.O BOX 1868 AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Several of my friends and I, are roomies we all applied for a card by Netspend we chose 100% direct deposit after completion of the applications
each of us were provided with account & routing numbers. A few days later we each got our cards now it's activation time. My friend called in letting the representative know she wanted to activate her card she's then asked a slew of questions boiling down too it appears to be suspect activity because several cards were issued to this address. Now they want us to provide them with copies of all of our SSN and Identification cards, before any of our cards can activated and any info on our cards can be obtained( We feel as though sending any further personal info could lead to identity theft. Enough information for a prepaid card that our own monies are being placed on has already been given one would think. After all their not giving us an unsecure amount of credit.
We opted direct deposit and can, t be told if our funds are available until further info is faxed to them. We shall be notifying the Better Business Bureau on this matter.
