North Seattle Auto Sales Complaint - False Advertisement?
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- We recently considered buying a car from North Seattle Auto Sales. Their selection was alright, and we found the make/model car we had been looking at for an okay price, (though we've since found a better one for the same price in Everett).
Although they boast working with customers with none/poor credit, and have a "$500 down" program, the finance manager outright refused to try and work with us because we had never financed a car before (no credit score check, nothing - just a refusal).
He told us that he COULD NOT get us a loan, despite the fact that he didn't even know how much money we had total to put down that day (not to mention his rude habit of interrupting and that we couldn't even get a word off).
We had $3000+ to put down on an $8000 car, and upon the maturing of a CD, the car would have been paid for in full in less than one week. The financing was temporary to make sure we could secure the car, because they also would not take a deposit (even a $2000 deposit) for the next three days.
We were going to go back the next weekend with the entire sum in hand, but decided against it because of the poor attitude and little help we received.
I would not refer my friends or family to North Seattle Auto Sales, but if you have good credit or the money to pay for the car right there, you shouldn't have the same problems we had.
