1 & 1 Internet Complaint - Billing Practices - Internet Service Provider
Well, I too like another person that put a review on here for 1 & 1 internet was billed after discontinuing service. One difference between them and I is that I paid in 3 month service blocks so they billed me for somewhere around $42. Not being too savvy about computers/internet I had my current webmaster conduct a 3 way phone call with them to make sure the service had been indeed shut off. Shutting it off (or as I thought was supposed to occur) was quite lengthy as the employee we dealt with had difficulty with the ENGLISH language. Attempts to resolve this with the billing department fell on deaf ears.
I told my webmaster and 3 way call witness about all of this and she said it sounded like they were unscrupulous. Because, of this and the fact they have my account information I shut down my bank account and restarted another one.
They're shady. Oh, and I've written all this to them twice.
