Toys R Us Informative - Refund/Exchange Policy
COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA -- Everyone seems to have an issue with Toys R Us refund policy. And to be completely honest, you really shouldn't have one because I shop and everyone's receipt states that you have to have a receipt to do refunds. Don't you know that there are people out there doing refund fraud. That's when they buy an item and take it to another store to get there money back, or they just have an item and just want to get the money, knowing they didn't pay for it.
I have worked at Toys R Us for three years now at the service desk. I have to deal with everything you people here are talking about. Out policy is on the receipt if you even bother to actually look at it and it is on the counter, that is if you even bother to read that. Most of you don't even try then get mad when you can't do something.
Now returning electronics, we have had people return DS Lites but it has old blackberry's in the box. So now they have a DS for free. That's why we don't take it back. And with electronics as long as you are within 45 days, you can exchange it for the EXACT same item.
You people are just lazy and try to get over on people. We have to protect our interest as a company. And as much as you people say that you won't come back, GUESS WHAT, you do. So you just complain to hear yourself talk.
And maybe if some of you didn't come with such rude, nasty attitudes, we would try to at least help you. I know I won't even try if you are a nasty, disrespectful person.
