Bluegreen Vacation Club Complaint - Ripoff Vacations - Vacation Package

Review by chaco on 2009-04-22
WISCONSIN DELLS, WISCONSIN -- I joined the Bluegreen Vacation Club, and cannot use my points. Every time I go to make a reservation there is no availability. I also get no satisfaction when speaking to anyone there. They explained that the person who gave so much false info., and made false promises is no longer employed there because of that. I paid over $1,000 for this scam!

Is there anyone out there who can help me? I contacted the BBB and Consumer Protection so far, but not sure if I need an attorney at this point.

Anything a sales person tells you verbally is worthless. Only what's written down in a contract is valid. Read your contract carefully to see what the options are. For $1000 you probably paid for a low end package which most likely has very limited availability. An attorney will probably cost more than what you paid for the package.

Good advice, but there are over 13,000 complaints on line about the Bluegreen Vacation package. Thank you though.

Still everyone who purchases timeshare packages should realize what the sales person "SAYs" has nothing to do with what the legal contract says. If it sounds too good to be true.......FILL IN THE REST.

And now the BBB dropped the complaint!
