Gamestop Complaint - Reservation Ripoff
Me 3 weeks ago: Can I reserve Dokapon Journey?
employee: No (didn't even look at the computer).
(turns out no one can reserve it)
3 weeks later, looking for the game:
me: Do you have Dokapon Journey.
employee: Yes, we have 4.
me: Can you hold one for me?
me: I was told you had Dokapon Journey.
employee: We never carried that game and won't.
me: Could you look in other stores for me then?
Went to three other stores, same responses.
The thing is though, they wouldn't let me reserve it. I even called the corporate offices and they said I should've been able to reserve it. They should've held onto it for me if I asked to and they're supposed to ask other stores for a copy, not just go "we don't have it, forget you" or tell me that I can't reserve it then on release date go "we can't sell it to those who didn't preorder. Should've reserved" then when I say I tried to they go "too bad then".
