Scottsdale Healthcare Complaint - Terrible Treatment

Review by Buckey on 2009-04-24
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA -- I was treated like a piece of garbage at this hospital. I am from another country and my English is slightly broken. I was treated like a piece of dirt I think because of my race and the color of my skin. I heard one of the staff say something about a camel jockey and then everyone was laughing. I would not recommend a place where the staff mocks the way you talk and make fun of you. BAD ER even worse on the patient floors you people should be ashamed of yourselves healers more like racist.

How unfortunate. Request a copy of your medical record showing the names of the staff involved in your care. Make a copy and send it with a polite letter of complaint to your state's Civil Rights Commission. Best wishes and welcome to America!

I'm so sick of the terms "camel jockey" and "towelhead" and the people who think it is perfectly acceptable to use them. Its not right!

As an Arizonan, I'm embarrassed....really. Scottsdale thinks it is something it simply is NOT. I'm sorry for how you were treated and welcome to Arizona. Ditch Snottsdale though.

As Doc said, make it polite. I don't know what you posted in reply to me on the other complaint @ these people(admin jerked it), but what they did in this case was uncalled for.
Good luck.
