Motel 6 Essington PA Complaint - Drugs In A Room? - Bad
Bad - Complaint
ESSINGTON, PENNSYLVANIA -- My family and I first checked into Motel 6 on Saturday night trying to get away from everything. The lady at the desk gave us our room number and we went to the room. Meanwhile it is me (who is pregnant) my boyfriend and our 5 year old son. We walked into the room and didn't notice anything at first. I went to use the bathroom and there was poop all over the toilet seat, the door handle was broken on the bathroom door, and then we went to lock the door before we were going to bed and the lock was broken on the door to that. We went to the front office to complain and the lady first told us they can not switch our room. So the guy said he will be on the next shift and he will do it. They gave us a new room, and we went to that one thinking everything was okay, didn't notice anything. The only problem with that one was the light wasn't working near the sink "well motel 6 I guess from you always leaving the lights on, you burnt it out" haha. But thats not the thing... The next morning we wake up and start to get ready and my 5 YEAR OLD SON found a little crack bag on the floor with a little bit of it in there! I was freaking because the first thing that came to my mind, anything could of happened! he could of licked his fingers or did anything! I know motel 6 can't handle what people do in the rooms, but they can handle the rooms being CLEAN!
So we finished getting ready and my boyfriend took the bag to the office while we were checking out, and they didn't do anything at all. I would never ever go there again or recommend someone else going there. That place is so nasty...

OMG, no way I would have stayed in any of their rooms after finding poo on the toilet! gag!
I'm glad your son is OK, I would be horrified too!
Next time you want to get away, do a search online, you'll be surprised how many reasonably priced places you can find that are meticulously clean.

You could have sold the crack for some extra money. All kidding aside, I'm glad your son is okay and the hotel should have been more accomodating

Anyone who's ever seen Essington would understand... I'm suprised there wasn't still a meth lab bubbling away when you checked into the room.

I'm not sure that you wouldn't find this kind of thing at any Motel 6 any where. They are just that kind of place.

I believe Motel 6 was sold to a French company years ago, and now, in many locations, the rooms are even more disgusting than ever, if that is possible.

Let me get this straight, you stated that there was poop all over the toilet seat, but in your words above the lock to the main door was broken, so what your saying even though there was poop on the toilet seat you were going to lock the door room if it were working properly and go to bed in a room with poop all over the toilet seat.
I don't know about that, but are you sure you weren't on crack yourself before entering the room. Sorry, but I wouldn't have stayed in that room with poop on the toilet seat or nonetheless in that hotel for the night.

I am so glad your son is ok. I just wrote a review on Motel 6 myself. The room I was in had pee and I mean old pee on the floor all around the toilet and trash in the can from someone else. I tell you that is so gross. Trying to get anyone to help with rectifying this is a joke in itself. They call them guess relations "specialist". Right....specialist of what??
