Bobs Discount Furniture Complaint - One Headache After Another
STATEN ISLAND, NEW YORK -- Everything seems great when you walk into the store. First thing to watch out for is the no hassle goof proof protection. The salesman will tell you is only a phone call away its an hour waiting on the phone (press one, press two etc). Then get told you must get a form fill it out mail it in have it reviewed then they will give you a call, or so they say, now to my delivery out of a table 6 chairs and a dresser the only undamaged pieces were 2 stools so they give me another date it will be replaced. I stay home all day because we are having a dinner party the next day they arrive at an hour after the supposed latest delivery time and inform me the table was checked the day before and was also damaged so instead of asking if I would like to wait to have it all sent together they show up an hour late with a dresser which had a defective draw that only lasted 2 weeks and 4 chairs 2 of which were also damaged hell I've got nothing better to do so they give me another date to stay home all day and wait for the 2 till 5 delivery time frame... and show up at 7 in the morning still one chair with a mark across the seat but at this point I give up and take it and was told another drawer would be sent out ups the next day 2 months later I called about it and was told it was sent but they would check guess what it was not only not ordered but now might not be available! customer service was nasty and basically told me too bad.
I should have known Bobs seems to be the MONSTER child of Ikea and Semans STAY FAR AWAY.
