Doubletree Complaint - Doubletree Mt Laurel NJ - Manager inhospitable to Diamond Member
MT LAUREL, NEW JERSEY -- On Monday 4/28/09 I entertained 7 local NJ clients, who are Mt Laurel business owners in DoubleTree Guest Suites GG's restaurant... I asked desk clerk to use the business center, she said I needed a room key, I told her I was meeting with clients, but not a sleeping guest of hotel, and identified myself as a 10 year Hilton Honors Diamond member...she said no...you may not use the computer in business center...I asked to speak with a Manager, she left me waiting at desk for 5 minutes, then came back and said "Manager said no" I asked to speak with him, she said he was too busy to come out so I asked for his card...his name is [snip]. I have had worse experiences at other Hotels but have never been treated this poorly at a Hilton Property...such a small, simple accommodation, I wasn't to cost him a penny but this simpleton not only insults me, he doesn't have the guts to do it to my face, he hides sniveling in his office, doing God knows what, and could not allow me a simple courtesy...I will avoid that property and advise my colleagues to do same.
FYI...we spent about $150 on lunch, and it was delicious...compliments to the Chef, but [snip], as far as I am concerned you are a world class grade A loser, and have no place in the Hospitality Business never mind in position of authority over others...perhaps you would make a good Chambermaid...
