Offermeds Complaint - Offermeds Won't Stop Sending Out Personal Customer Information

Review by LisaPit on 2009-04-29
I have never ordered anything from Offermeds.com, but every week I get an email message from them telling me it's time to refill my prescription. The message contains the name, address, height, weight, medical information, and CREDIT CARD NUMBER of another individual with a last name similar to mine. I have called their customer service number MORE THAN A DOZEN TIMES trying to get these messages stopped. They say they will take me off the mailing list, but they don't. The refuse to let me talk to a supervisor.

I thought perhaps this was just some kind of scam, but I actually called the person whose information I keep getting and she is a real person, and the information I am being sent is correct. She has also called Offermeds trying to get her information taken out of their system, but they won't do it. She has had to cancel her credit card.

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM OFFERMEDS. COM UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK IDENTITY AND CREDIT CARD THEFT.
