Medco Complaint - Medco Changed My Medication Without Consulting Me
I am on a medication that I took for a couple of months as samples, then filled at the regular pharmacy. I kept going into see my doctor to make sure it was working. Finally since I was happy and she was happy she wrote me a 3 month prescription. I waited a couple of weeks and ran out of my meds. I went online and found the RX was "in process" but it was for an entirely different medication!! When I called the so called pharmacist said was changed to a preferred brand by my doctor. I called and my doctor knew nothing about it and told me that changing to a "preferred brand" was MY CHOICE not Medco's.
The pharmacist told me she did not have to ask me to change my medication.
