WOODBRIDGE, NEW JERSEY -- As a consumer from your state, I felt it was my responsibility to bring to your attention the following incident.
I purchased a car (1998 Cadillac Catera) from Woodbridge Dodge (Dennis Adams) NJ about a month ago. Vin # W06VR52R3WR045623. I have spoke to Brandon Heins, Walter, and Wolly (all who are 'managers' working at Woodbridge Dodge) numerous times about my complaints. I have been lied to over and over again from numerous people working there. I was lied to about the price before I bought it. They told me it was going to be $1,000 cheaper but the day I went to purchase the car they put the price up $1,000 from what they told me and then told me they were just trying to 'read' me and that is the reason for them lying to me. I finally purchased the car for $2,700 plus TTL. It has now been over three weeks and I have yet received what I payed for (title and plates). They sold me the car with no working brake lights AT ALL, I was following my husband home while he was driving it and realized it had no working brake lights. MY MAIN complaint is the temporary license plates that they gave me...they expire today. They have told us every day that we call that our plates will be in the next day and NOTHING is being done about it at all. The 'manager', Wally, has given us the run around from day one. We have called the Dealer Unit and complained to them about it and they said that we can demand our money back or a rental car... they have not agreed to either. I am now driving a car around with expired temporary plates...none of which is my fault. They have done absolutely nothing to make me happy. They now say that they will have the plates in by tomorrow (again, they have been telling me this all along) but yet they refuse to let me borrow a rental car. They even sold me the car before they even had the title.
I would appreciate if someone can please contact me within 10 business days from today to help me with this matter.
As a resolution, I would like the following:
I am not asking for much...Money back on registration and plates and an appology. Can someone please help me?
