Sears Complaint - Interest Rate Change
I cannot believe the conversation I had with Sears customer service for mastercard gold. I was told my rate went from 10percent to 24 percent due to a business discussion. Sounds more like a going out of business discussion! I have been with them over 20 years and never a late payment. My balance is not as high as it has been in the past. I was told that they had no opportunity to offer me at this time. opportunity???? They suggested that I spend my rewards points! Times will be good again, but they will not. In bad times, you want to attract good customers. Sears gold mastercard has made a very bad move! I have paid off.
I guess no interest was a better business discussion than 10percent! Sounds like they might need to re think what business skills they actually have!
