J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Complaint - Not Happy With Merchandise And Customer Service
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA -- We have been customers of JC Penny for many years, however, on our purchase last July 08 we are very displeased with their merchandise and Customer Service. We have been dealing with this since January 09. The mattress was sold to us as firm for our backs for our vacation home. After a couple of weekends sleeping on the mattress it starting sagging where we slept. They sent an inspector in March after we complained who reported it was "not defective". We had to buy another mattress set as we could not sleep on it at all anymore. We sent pictures to the Supervisor and she never called us back or responded with a letter. We do not want it and want to return it and our account credited.
Please be aware when you purchase at this store about their policies. The mattress has a warranty but we do not want another one from that company. JC Penny has been dealing with this for three months. What does a person have to do? We are considering a call to our Attorney.
