Auto Parts Giant Complaint - Can It Get Any Worse? - Auto Parts /EGR Sensor and Gaskets on a Dodge Ram
Auto Parts /EGR Sensor and Gaskets on a Dodge Ram - Complaint
Review by PaulD on 2009-05-01
The reason I bought a code reader is so that I stopped getting the run around by Auto Dealers. I guess I traded the headache when I placed my first order with Auto Parts Giant. I placed my order for an EGR valve and gaskets on 4/17/09. Looked like a good deal on the part. I understood the order would take 5-8 business days to arrive. I called on the 24th to see if my order had shipped. First call, I was hung up on. Second call, I was told order was dropped shipped and a request will be put in to provide tracking. Didn’t happen. Called back on the 27th. Long hold times. Was told item would be delivered on the 29th or 30th. Called on the 29th. Again, long wait times in the queue. Still no tracking and was told a supervisor would email me with tracking info. Didn’t happen. Called back today, 5/1/09. First call resulted in long wait times to talk to a person. Was put on hold then hung up on. Second call, I called the new order line, told them my issue. Requested to speak to a supervisor and was given the customer service voicemail.
Called back again, same scenario (even though I specifically asked to speak with a live supervisor). Now I have two calls in to two voicemails, nearly two hours of phone time, and no resolution. Looking at disputing with PayPal. I really just want my parts. Worst customer service I received in a while. Recommend to anyone, “keep on looking”. Now I realize how Auto Parts Giant is able to keep prices low. Not worth it to me.
