Krups/Satisfusion Complaint - Quit Your Bellyaching

Review by Patprick on 2009-05-01
PEORIA, ILLINOIS -- I worked for Satisfusion as a Supervisor for many years. I had many compalints about Krups and the cost of shipping and the cost of parts. I read the first review on the Krups/Satifusion complaint page. The supervisor the lady spoke with may have been me!!! The truth is shipping and handling is more than just shipping. It pays for the 800 number and the insurance on the package and the materials to box and package in, etc. This is not a lie, but a serious truth that all mail order shoppers know to be true. Could it be cheaper? Hell yeah!!! But it ain't. It is business. Unfortunately Krups is for serious hitters. People who have money to piss away. They are and have always been high end appliances with no reward for buying them except the prestige of owning a German made coffee maker. I wondered if Hitler owned one? They are usually very good products, but everything is expensive that is involved with them. The last decade Krups has decided to market more to the lower class of us, but did not change the cost of their supplies, service or parts.

So don't cry because you had to pay more than you wanted. Stick with you beer budget and leave the champaign alone. If you want the prestige you gotta take the hilt with the blade of the sword.

The information in this review is good. Too bad the reviewer didn't give it the high ground it deserved. The OP rises on behalf of a top shelf product, but came across like a guy selling watches from under an overcoat. Maybe he's 'Vince' the Shamwow guy?

Gee, thanks..Doc..the thought of Vince ruins my romantic plans for the next twenty minutes, always...

champagne = champaign

I had one of the first Krupps expresso makers that came out. It was total junk.
