Filene's Basement Complaint - Don't Go

Review by pissed01 on 2009-05-01
ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- Simply don't go! All the employees look overworked and overwhelmed. They walk around and openly complain about the store, each other and their life. No one seems to know where anything is and the few people in charge, seem to be in worse shape than those they're supervising. To add the cherry on top, the fitting room attendant is sleep ALL the time or complaining about something ALL the time! I'll shop in the MA, DC and VA stores, but Atlanta (Buckhead) GA, NO-you've loss my business forever.

I've shared my experiences w/my co-workers and relatives; who already are aware of the service, but they don't have the luxury of traveling to other locations like I am able to. I have complained to corporate and nothing. The store needs a facelift beginning with managers, employees and store decor.

Everybody complains about their job. You ever worked in retail? It sucks

You won't have to worry much longer, they were just sold to a liquidation company.

Thanks KP...but does this mean the Buckhead store will close or get a facelift? It's in a prime shopping area, I couldn't imagine the store closing or changing the staff...thanks for the update...I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Yaya-I have worked in retail b4 and those people at FB complain way toooooo much...ALWAYS drama, every time I shopped there...and let's not start on the security staff there:(
