A&E Repair Complaint - Washer Repair Scam
PLEASANTVILLE, NEW YORK -- Called SEARS repair service, they connected me to A&E. No issue with timing or appointment. Complaint is for the service itself. Tech came out, spent 3 minutes with the machine turning it on for 5 seconds. Went to truck and had written up a repair bill for $950. He had everything you could possibly replace on his estimated repair order. My washer agitated, washed, filled, drained but did not spin. So, without any diagnosis other than opening the top of my top loader and looking at the belt he determined that almost everything needed to be replaced. Beware - a real scam.
