Citifinancial Complaint - Excuses
OKLAHOMA -- As we all know Citifinancial bought out Washington Mutual recently, along with that we the consumers get the phone calls from the inexperienced new representaatives. my complaint starts with the fact that i lost my job in october (lay off) I had unemployment insurance on my loan with washington mutual. everything was going ok till this last week then it got worse. knowing that the insurance pays at least 30 days late (awaiting my proof of unemployment monthly). washington mutual calls me in march telling me that i am 30 days past due on my payment, i explained to them the insurance pays it and they said that i need to contact my loan office that it will be reported 30 days late on my CBR.
I made my attempts to contact local loan of of WAMU, manager was in training for 2 weeks for the citifinancial take over, a strong loan specialist recently quit, and a not so informative secretary was all i had to work with. so i had to wait 2 weeks for the manager. needless to say she said the copies were sent, insurance co said no copies since christmas. I brought copies of all UI payments since then, she said she would get these to them right away and if it is on my CBR she will call them and have it removed (still waiting on that also) she also called citifinancial in my presence and told them they are not noting the account that i had a rude phone call from amber yesterday threatening my CBR. I was told the late fees would be removed blah blah blah....
Yesterday got the new citifinancial bill from my wamu change over.. loaded with 90.00 in fee's showing no payments etc. i called them on number listed, was told had to call florida #, called talked to bruce was told account was placed in non pay but should not have left insurance because they are making payments on it. he said account will be placed with manager and to talk to local loan company.. a few hours later a woman called me said that my loan payment is late and would i like to pay it with check or cc.. i asked her if she read the notes and gave her a moment and she said the computer calls back any one that calls in, explained the situation again.. she said she was trying to help me..but the account is on the no pay list, i asked her the previous notes and then she said that she cant see what the guy wrote.. I informed her they helped me enough today, that i will be taking care of this in the local office in the morning..How do i get them to stop calling whether im late or early? this is the only company that i have problems with.... thank you
