McMahons RV Complaint - Satellite Installation Gone Bad

Review by raiders steve on 2009-05-03
IRVINE, CALIFORNIA -- Last Jan 2 we drove 8 hours to pick up our new motorhome. One of the extras we paid the dealership was for them to install a satellite TV system. The cost was $1600.00. They were to have some one there to be sure it was working correctly before we left. That did not happen and the satellite system idi not work. After many calls and emails to the dealer we with no help we asked about taking the motorhome to a satellite dealer near us. They said fine. The new dealer found the cable from the dome to the receiver had been forced past a screw that had stripped off the insulation and caused it to ground out. When the dealership we purchased the motorhome from was informed of this by the other dealer they said to repair it and they would pay the repair bill. When we arrived to pick up our motorhome we were told the other dealer said to have us pay the bill and they would reimburse us.

Well it's now 4 months later and no reimbursement, they give excuses and say they wiil get back to us but neve do. This is a terrible way to run a dealership, once they had our $85,000.00 all customer service stopped.

That is horrible that an outfit that rakes in millions would rip you off like that.
Hey! That sounds like what the Raiders do. lol

What mad said...take them to small claims court, they've had enough time to reimburse you and will probably pay off before it even goes in front of a judge.

Definitely take them to small claims court for a reimbursement of the repair bill.
