American Airlines Complaint - Miami Airport Horrible Customer Service
MIAMI -- Please People American Airlines is the worst I will never use them again. After 8 years of not flying due to World Trade Center, I decided to get over my fear and start traveling again. We'll it was the worst experience ever,"Nightmare". April 4, 2009 I was coming back from Jamaica to catch a connecting flight from Miami Airport in which I knew, that I was going to have to wait 5 hours to connect to my other flight back to New York. The problem was when we got off, the place was hell nobody spoke English I felt like I was in Cuba. Don't dare ask a question in English they won't answer you.
Why? most of the times no one spoke English, all flights were called in Spanish so we couldn't understand what gate to go to and wait. Then when we found what gate to go to, after being directed with hands signals to the wrongs gates for over an hour, then we were told" in broken English get a up no sit there" "mind you I was only waking the Airport for over and hour", then she pointed to a wheel chair sign. The best is if you spoke Spanish you got yourself a chair you didn't need a disability just know how to speak there language. I understand America is very cultural I get that, I am okay with that. But when did English become obsolete I thought we lived in America and English was the primary language. Let me say one thing I went to Jamaica and was treated like a queen. People were great, directions were fine "oh and the kicker is", everybody spoke English. They were more together than Miami will ever be. Let me not leave out the flight coming home. We were put on the Airplane at 8:20 p.m. didn't leave the runway to 10:00 p.m. why? The Captain was to busy in the restaurant getting something to eat. American Airlines should change it's name to "Money Air" and there new slogan should be?
If you have the money we'll take it, we don't really care what you want it's about what we could get and if you speak English your screwed especially when you land in Miami.
