Nextel/Sprint Complaint - So Completely Disappointing
BRADENTON, FLORIDA -- Went to order a new phone, was told by two people that the phone I wanted would fit my plan. got a great deal, had an online transcript emailed to me to back up the conversation, ordered the phone the next day. I got the phone, was super excited. called to activate, all of a sudden, the phone was not compatible with my plan and I would have to change plans. I am so aggravated. ever since the merge to Sprint, Nextel customer service has gone so down hill. they would not even stand behind what the two other lying employees had said and they would not compensate ANYTHING - no new phone, no anything. we are DEFINITELY switching carriers at the end of our contract. It is horrible to see that people LIE and MISLEAD just to sell phones, only to cause the customer more grief. The people I spoke with should have actually LISTENED to me, because I was willing to pay full price. they should have been HONEST with me... in that case I would have got a different phone and just left it at that.
I work in customer service, and let me just say, what I have experienced in the past few days has been more effective than any training session anyone could attend. One word of advice? keep lying, keep swindling, keep misleading your FAITHFUL clients, and you will lose them all. bad business leads to NO business.
