Palliser Furniture Complaint - Puckers Galore - Leather Sofa
Leather Sofa - Complaint
Based on a showroom sofa at a local retailer we bought two leather sofas from Palliser a Canadian/Mexican manufacturer of furniture. When the sofas arrived every seam was puckered and wrinkled. Not here and there but everywhere. The showroom sofa did have these unsightly puckers, nor did a second same sofa at another store. The retailer seeing the cushions readily agreed this was shoddy, inferior workmanship, contacted Palliser and asked that they invoke their warranty. Result? They brushed him off and said the appearance is standard.
If you buy from Palliser be aware the warranty may be useless, the product different from showroom examples and a company unresponsive to retailer or customer complaints. You might get gigantic wrinkled prunes passing as sofas.
