Cox Communications Inc Informative - Cox Cable TV Service
PHOENIX, ARIZONA -- Cox has charged my account for unauthorized Cable TV service just because I have internet and telephone services with them. When I call them to complaint they say that they can only back it up and credited me the last 30 days. That is BS! I told they said that the fact that the Cable service was on and I didn't notify them sooner that it was my fault. I wanted to cancel all my services with them but I want to retain my email addresses. I am looking to maybe change it to Qwest or something? Their billing is like pulling teeth. They are quick to take your money but never want to admit faults and credit it back to customers. I hate them. But I am stuck for now. My next step is to turn off my land line phone service with them. I will see what I can do to complaint this with the Better Business Bureau, as my next step.
On top of that, my HOA was paying for my cable TV for the past 3.5 years or so. For about the last 18 months, I did not get cable TV services from them because they have a filter or trap at my box outside of my house. When confronted them, they said it was my fault for not telling them. I didn't know about the HOA paying for the services all these time. So when they corrected the problem, I only had 1 month of service, before the HOA canceled the service with them. That is when Cox decided to bill me automatically without my authorization. They are crooks!
On the other hand, their High Speed Internet Customer and Technician services. They are awesome!
