Tynans Nissan Complaint - Don't Honor Warranty And Make 64 Year Old Women Cry

Review by Hermanthegerman on 2009-05-07
FORT COLLINS, COLORADO -- We purchased our Maxima from Tynans two years ago. When we purchase it I was asked if I wanted an extended warranty. I usually don't purchase them but this time I did. I was very interested in the repair of dings to windows and the body. It seems that happens all the time. I was told that all normal driving dings were covered. When we took it in the first time we were told not covered. My wife drove back home, 200 mile round trip by the way, and I called the company. They tell me it is a mistake and it is covered. We schedule the repair again. My wife drives 200 miles round trip and was told the repairman couldn't make it because of the wind. My 64 year old wife made it in the wind. We then asked if the repair could be completed in a town closer. We were told sure, the repairman would call you. He never called. So we schedule another appointment and my wife drove 200 miles round trip and was again told it wasn't covered, even though they had looked and the dings the last time and said they were. My wife tried to explain to the service man but he wouldn't listen. My wife started crying and told them to forget about it. She calls me on the way home and I immediately called Tynans finance man and was told again that it was a mistake and it was covered. I asked him if he honestly thought I was going to have my wife drive another 200 miles round trip to a dealership that can't communicate with their service department.

One thing to not honor the warranty another to make a 64 year old women cry when she was just doing what they has asked us to do. Don't buy from Tyanns Nissan in Fort Collins.
