AT & T U-verse Complaint - Wipe-Out Move with U-Verse Service

I finished a relocation move from apartment living to a house for better comfort... However, moving my televisions was not as satisfying... AT&T U-verse told me to ship my old receivers back and just move with my old remotes; service will be started at my new location on the date specified: Well hook-up was done on time and two new remotes were added. My programing was gone (or not?) if I ship now (at no cost to me-WOW!), new receivers but not my familiar channels that I can have with the same old model thats the same as the new model. Why not switch the new serial# with the old one and let me keep my old stuff and I send back the new. Can't be applied, Company policies over customer satisfaction.
Guess I should have Stayed with Dish Network; after my term is up I plan to switch. Digital over analog isn't being very friendly.
Got my email for shipping back via UPS; they are supposed to do it all with the return request. Good-Bye Memories.
