Is There Any Way To Convince The Hotel To Refund A Smoking Fee? Even If They Have No Proof Of Us Smoking, Just A Smell?
CROCKETT, TEXAS -- I was charged several days after I checked out of the hotel & when I called regarding the $200 charge they said there was smoking in the room. We don't even smoke! I've contacted the attorney general, the Federal Trade Commission, the BBB, corporate headquarters, & still I can't get through to the general manager that we DID NOT smoke in the room. He refuses to refund my money & when I checked some reviews of the hotel, this is not the first time this has happened at this hotel. HELP!
I'm on unemployment & could barely afford the $112 for the room, much less an extra $200 that I don't deserve to be charged!!!
