SeattleDirectCoffee Complaint - Coffee Company Scam

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON -- I purchased an inexpensive promotional package of coffee (I thought.) The coffee was fine and I might have purchased it again, but within the two weeks after the actual purchase-5 more large orders came, unsolicited each with a $38.00 charge to my debit account-which was unplanned and unexpected and overdrew my account. I called after the first two came and was told the orders would stop and I'd be refunded upon returning them. When two more came I left a livid and threatening message and they stopped coming, but I still have no refund. I called again today after looking at all the postings against the company, and was told they didn't have my returns yet (I returned them two weeks ago.)

I don't expect to get one. Think twice before ordering-you don't know what you'll get or what you'll be charged!

Never, ever, give out your account number! I'm sure some where on that site, it told you that you were signing up for subsequent shipments but you overlooked it because it was one of those 'fine print' statements. I'm signed up for continuing coffee shipments from Gevalia. But I choose how often I wish to receive them. Since I have 5½ pounds of coffee on hand, I've suspended further shipments until the first week in September. Hope you get this straightened out to your satisfaction.
