Nuvox Complaint - Nuvox--Unethical Business Practices

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I was negotiating our telecom services, I asked Nuvox (our current carrier) to submit a bid for additional services and asked our representative when our contract renewed. He gave me a date a couple of months in the future that made sense based on what I remembered from the contract timing and told me he’d work on putting a bid together.

Ultimately, another bid was better, so we contacted Nuvox to tell them we’d be transferring our services over to another bidder. Unfortunately, when we did so, our representative pulled a “GOTCHA” and told me that our auto-renew clause had kicked in 60 days earlier, which would’ve been only a few days after I had originally spoken with him. After our representative said we could terminate, but we’d have to pay out the REMAINDER of the contract, I confronted him with his original mistruth. He denied having given me that date, despite the fact that the IT consultant on the teleconference call had heard it, too.

Be forewarned: Nuvox will LIE to keep your business.
