Hardee's Informative - The new commercials are not distasteful; everyone needs to calm down.
All you people who are complaining about the new commercial need to get a couple of facts straight. First of all, the woman is not just "some sexy model"; she is Padma Lakshmi: chef, author, actress AND model. If you'd take the time to look at the print beneath her name, you'd know that. A chef and cookbook author, starring in a commercial about food; who'd have thought it? Secondly, the fact that she's attractive does not make this commercial indecent. Is she naked? Is she in any state of undress? No? Stop complaining, then.
Her dress is perhaps a little low-cut, but until I see a nip-slip, I'm not ever going to call indecency, and neither should you. And those of you who are suggesting that she licks the sauce "provocatively" - well, let me see you wipe up some sauce with a finger and not look pretty much the same as she does.
When an attractive and FULLY CLOTHED woman cannot sell a product on TV without people shrieking in horror, I don't know what's become of this country. Hardee's should not feel that they need to pull a commercial based on the Puritanical hand-wringing of a few people who think "Oh noes, there's a woman on a commercial! She must be getting EXPLOITED!"

I don't mind the commercial. But trying to pass Padma off as some kind of brainiac is a bit of a stretch. She was hired because she looks good, the end. Lets see the same commercial with Susan Boyle. Yeah right.

I tend to agree however it is a bit suggestive. Crap, my husband stops whatever he's doing when that commercial comes on! LOL But it's no where near as suggestive as the Quizno's commercials they've been running of late.
