SystemSuite Complaint - SystemSuite 9 will crash your computer!

Review by Techo24 on 2009-05-15
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- This product has forced me to have to run a complete system recovery on my Sony Vaio Desktop computer. After the reinstall (loosing all aplications and data). I was reassured that I could reinstall SystemSuite.
I did and it worked well for 3 weeks. They then sent a update for me to install and as I installed it my computer went to a black screen as it did the first time. From there it takes 1/2hr to reboot the computer. I lost internet access. The software is so insidious it shut off any avenue in the computer to fix it. the software shut the internet, the recovery system, the ability to uninstall applications etc. I am going to have to restore my computer to it's original state again (what a tedious process)
Until this company gets it's act together STAY AWAY FROM SYSTEMSUITE IT'S BAD FOR YOUR COMPUTER

What is it supposed to do for you?

I think it is a security suite program that doesn't work.

I highly recommend that you get Kaspersky's Internet Security Suite. It is the best on the market.

I must take exception to this post. I found Security Suite (the proper name) when the number following it was 7. I have now had Security Suite 7,8 and 9 Pro, and have not had a moment's problem with either my PC or my wife's (you receive three licenses) I suspect this person, who with his nic claims to be a tech, doesn't know how to use a computer. My computer has never been breached and has never crashed because Security Suite 9 Pro is on guard. Thank you, Avanquest.

I think you're both right. Two differently named programs but with the same purpose. I dunno...

For $20 you can protect three PC's with Zone Alarm. It's as good as anything out there right now.

I have kaspersky and it is great. The only problem is that it blocks some web pages from coming up, saying that the following URL is forbidden. I haven't figure out how to fix that. But other than that, it works fine.
