Earl Scheib Compliment - Highly Recommend for spot jobs

Review by DBR on 2009-05-16
ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA -- I received several quotes to repaint my bumper. I had a few minor scraps on it and didn't want to spend a fortune getting it fixed. Nobody came close to Earl Scheib's estimate so I decided to take it there. I was nervous about the quality I was going to receive for the price I was paying. But I was completely satisfied with the outcome. My bumper looks brand new. The paint matches perfectly. They did a fantastic job and I'll be a repeat customer. I highly recommend them if you need a spot job.

Good for you! I didn't know Earl Scheib was still in business.
When they were around here they kept Maaco from being the very worst.

It still rings in my head "I will paint any car any color for $29.95".

I thought he died. Super, how long ago was that claim? If recent, they must use one can of spray paint per vehicle. :)

Ponie, this will age me, it was when I was a kid back in the 60's. He was very old then with a high squeaky voice blaring out he would paint any car any color for $29.95 on TV. Then it went to $39.95, $49.95 etc... Then one day he was just gone along with his commercials. I figured he was dead and his paint and body shops closed down.

I think I remember seeing his ads in the daily newspapers in the Detroit area. Yep--seems that 'any color' bit sticks in my noggin.
