DirecTV Inc Complaint - Fraud / Not fully disclosing terms of up grade/ Misleading practices / Resolved for now.
LAS VEGAS, NV -- I received a notice From DIRECTV That said, As a preferred Customer I was eligible for a DVR No Charges were mentioned.
I Called Set an appointment, Charges were mentioned.
After the install the installers presented me with a two year contract. Misleading yes? I think yes don't you. I did not Sign the two year contract. After calling the Company that DIRECTV sent out to do the install, and told them I was not signing any two year contract. I did Sign the work order for the Company that DIRECTV sent out to do the install, acknowledging the install only.
Then my Bill went up $ 10.00 for HD Access Monthly, And $ 6.00 for DIRECTV DVR Service Monthly.
I was paying $58.89 the bill jumped to $ 79.99
The first call I was told I was stuck with the bill. I told them to shut off my service.
The second call I talked to a Supervisor. I found I was being billed for 3 Receivers they took one off the bill and dropped the bill to just over $ 60.00 per month for one year and they added 3 month free HBO, SHOW TIME & STARZ.
After one year will see?
